Tulsa, Oklahoma was so cute!
Tulsa was surprisingly charming! I mean that in the best way…it’s just that when I think of going somewhere for spring break I don’t think Oklahoma AT ALL. Granted I don’t really get spring breaks anymore and my husband was traveling there for work (so it was a free trip)… and I was pleasantly surprised.
Sam found this quaint & modern Airbnb about a mile and a half away from downtown, situated on the very popular and trendy Cherry Street (15th street). That’s honestly where I spent most of my time because there were boutiques, coffee shops, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. It was so cute!
The first day we were in Tulsa I walked over to The Coffee House on Cheery Street to blog and eat some breakfast! The inside of the coffee shop was really cozy, and the outside had a little fire-place to have coffee beside. The food was good too! After that I pretty much explored the whole of cherry street and went shopping. I bought some super cute wine gift bags at Dolce Vita and then promptly forgot them at the rental 🙁
There were SUPER cute home decor stores too. My favorites were The Nest (where the owner actually makes his homemade candles in front of you), UPSIDE, & T.A. Lorton. I literally wanted to buying everything in all three of these stores!
When Sam got home from work, we ordered a pizza to-go from Andolini’s Pizzeria (SOOOO GOOD) and then went home to catch up on the Bachelor! <—- Had to. Even signed up my friend to be on JOJO’s season of the Bachelorette 😉
I’ll post more on Part Two. I visited one of the most gorgeous art museums in the country right here in Tulsa, you HAVE to see it if you ever find yourself there.
Hope everyone has a great Monday!
