Yep, it’s been that kind of week.
Monday – Sam’s car decided to die completely right before he needed to leave for the airport. Needs a new battery.
Tuesday – Came home and had to make an emergency trip to the vet because Kona’s (our Australian Shepherd’s) lungs aren’t working.
Wednesday – Waited over an hour to get my oil changed only to be told they couldn’t do it because my oil plug was broken.
Thursday – Was told my truck needed $1500 worth of manual labor, a new gasket and a new oil pan.
Things to be thankful for:
If Sam hadn’t asked me to get his GPS out of his car I wouldn’t have known about the dead car and would have been stuck without transportation while he was out of town. He was taking the truck to the airport.
Because of Konas emergency vet trip we found out his heart has been doing a lot better and the vet let us borrow a $100 nebulizer for Konas lungs for free!
And thankfully my dad can probably fix my truck once I buy the parts because he’s awesome.
Sam made it home safely.
Oh and a million other things once I really stop to think about it!
There are so many things to be thankful for even when things aren’t ideal or seem to be going awry! Especially in my life… if these are my biggest problems this week, I’ve got it really good. Glad our boy Kona is doing better. And thankful for some beautiful evenings this week. Kona can’t have much activity because of his lungs or else he would be in the pictures below!
