Goood Monday to you lovely people in the world, out there kickin butt and takin names even though its a rainy day (if you’re in Austin or surrounding areas of TX) and you would much rather be in PJ’s watching a movie and eating ice cream straight from the carton…
That’s what I would LOVE to be doing right now but then I know my tomorrow belly would loathe today me. So…I’ll just watch a movie and lift weights instead. Actually, I’ll catch up on Game of Thrones and drink coffee and mentally prepare to work out later, maybe.
I just finished preparing our two places for some guests this week and now I’m about to finish a paint job that I started LAST MONDAY.
But before I do that…I’ve actually been thinking about this post for awhile and then cleaning the rental just reminded me that I should do a Guest Bathroom Post.
What makes a nice guest bathroom? And I’m not talking cute decor or nice extras, I’m talking essentials!
Haven’t you ever been to someone’s house and needed to use the restroom only to find they are out of toilet paper so you ransack their cabinets looking for some and you have to go ask if they have any?
Or you are staying with a friend/relative and you go to take a shower but cant find a towel or they don’t have extra shampoo and conditioner in case you forgot yours?
It’s a tiny pet peeve of mine when people’s guest bathrooms aren’t actually prepared for a guest. I don’t know why because our bathroom hasn’t always been prepared….I guess it’s a weird newfound appreciation! So here are the essentials I think every Guest Bathroom should have ready in case of surprise visitors! I apologize to any visitors who were without these things when visiting Sam and I previously 😉
Guest Bathroom Essentials
2. A Bath Mat
3. A Hand Towel
4. Hand Soap
5. A Trash Can
9. Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Wash
- side note – I was not prepared for picture-taking. Hence these crappy cell phone photos. Whatever! For the love of your guests, go make your guest bathroom nice!
