Happy Saturday! What's up people? I've got something exciting for five of you lovely people with today's post! Obviously it has something to do with Rocksbox...I gave it away with the title of the post, but I'm really excited about it!
Radiant with Rocksbox
I'm very excited to be working with rocksbox - for several reasons! Firstly, I get to giveaway a free month of Rocksbox to five different people! F R E E. For one whole month!
For those of you unfamiliar with Rocksbox - it's a subscription box of jewelry sent to you with different pieces on loan based on your style profile and wishlist (which you set up on their website). You can receive as many boxes as you would like in a month by returning the jewelry once you are done borrowing it - just mail it back. OR keep what you loved and complete the buying process online and then request your next box! And on and on.
Make sure you select different pieces that you would LOVE to receive in your box and put them in your Wish List on your profile on their website for the best Rocksbox results.
The other reasons I'm excited - I get to accessorize more and try out different styles of jewelry before buying them! There are so many different trends and styles that I like from a distance but I'm hesitant to try - you know? Because I don't want to flat out buy something at the store and then end up not really liking the style after all. So it's an awesome way to try new looks.
I'm also excited to have an excuse to dress up more. Sam and I were talking about this after his 30th birthday. Because we hardly ever dress up and we decided that it's time we started dressing like adults. I mean, since he turned 30 and all. We both literally have our standard "uniform" outfits that we gravitate toward ALL OF THE TIME. His is a navy shirt and his gray shorts. Mine is a big baggy/breezy shirt and my khaki shorts. No joke...we are just most comfortable in those things I guess.
Or is it living in Austin, Texas? It's so much easier to get away with being casual 24/7 here. I literally can't think of the last time I had a reason to dress up, except for my cousin's wedding and I was a bridesmaid so I already had a dress picked out for me. You know?
So we made a deal that we had to start actually putting on outfits anytime we were leaving the house to go to work/ meet friends/ etc. With the exception of errands like home depot trips or grocery shopping. Anyway thanks to Rocksbox I have that little push I needed to start putting on real clothes and being more of an adult. I don't want to waste a good box of jewelry after-all!
