You might have baby fever when your friend has a dream about you being pregnant.
This particular friend doesn’t have a snapchat so she hasn’t seen all of my baby snaps lately. I also haven’t spoken a word to her about babies!
Haha…I think I’m driving Sam crazy. I’ve been oo-ing and ah-ing at every little baby I see and immediately following the admiration with the phrase, “let’s have babies!”
But I don’t really have baby fever…though I’ve been thinking about having kids more and more lately. I’m definitely excited about the day we have them! I think having been a kinder teacher is partly to blame. The joy that came from being with those lovely little people all day is something I look forward to in growing our little family. Soooooo much.
Is it just me or do you ever feel like you just get thrown into certain things over and over again? I feel like for me, that has always been working with kids. From nannying, to being a pre-school teacher, to being a Sunday school teacher to being a kindergarten teacher. It’s funny to me because none of these were necessarily Plan A for me. And none of these things are what I would have seen myself doing when I was younger. But I think God has a funny way of putting you in the places that he knows will grow your heart and for me that has always been working with kids! Because it is one of the most tough, yet most rewarding things I have ever ever done.
Yesterday was my last day at school with my kinder kiddos and I already miss them! With how much Sam and I move around and how long my days were I really needed a break, but I know it probably won’t be too long before I find myself working with little ones again. In the mean time I’m excited to be able to do a little work from home and have time for working out, cooking and more blogging again.
And I couldn’t be more excited for Christmas! Sam and I are visiting family in Houston and I still have some shopping to get done. Anyone else? Hope everyone is having a great weekend 🙂
*Little disclaimer – My Principal said that it was okay to post pictures of the students on Social Media. The parents all sign permission at the beginning of the year. Love these kids!
