I meant to post this earlier today but I had a migraine ALL day. I've woken up with a migraine every single day this week. No joke... it hasn't been fun, but they have usually been gone by 1 or 2 in the afternoon but today it was all day and I couldn't see straight...so I didn't do much. I ordered some groceries on Shipt (you can sign up for a free 14 day trial on your computer, not the app, and if you are buying groceries for the week you'll most likely qualify for free delivery so it's exactly what you would be paying to actually go but they just show up at your door instead!) but when I went to check out the groceries weren't going to be delivered until tomorrow! So I still ordered them, and then I ordered a pizza! Took a nap with a fake fire and Christmas tunes playing on the TV - have any of you seen that on NETFLIX? It was nice! But I mean, what a time we are living in right? HAHA. I ordered groceries to my door and put a fake fire on my TV. OY...I would have made a real fire but it was still 80 degrees outside so the fake fire seemed appropriate.
NOW the cold front is blowing through and I LOVE IT. I keep wandering onto the back patio every time I hear it get gusty out there...so magical. And, I'm watching the newest Cinderella....but I thought I would still share these sweaters with you all! Sam and I are heading to Santa Fe, NM on January 5th and I want to be prepared with warm cozy wear so yesterday I was meeting my sweet friend Ashley at the Domain for dinner and I did a little sweater shopping before hand. I'm really liking the Domain northside: Nordstrom, Kittsona (super cute clothes, decor and fun things), Kelly Wynne Handbags, Lush Cosmetics (my first time experiencing their products and that place is awesome!) - so many good stores and places to grab a bite/drink.
I bought this super comfy Madewell Cocoon Sweater in the Dark Forrest color (it looks boxier in the online picture than I think it actually is on). It's seriously the softest thing ever and super warm - it's 25% off right now (thankful for birthday gift cards that make nice purchases possible...) and then I bought this BP mock neck sweater in the Grey Cloudy Heather (similar to the other sweater but a lighter more breathable material)! I'm loving the full coverage sweaters, they just look so classy! And they allow you to show off your hair and face if you want to play with your make-up or do a fun hair-do. I really also loved this Leith V-Neck Sweater in Pink Night...my gift card funds were running low by that point though... 😉
Ashley and I grabbed dinner at Kona on the older side because they just have such a great happy hour! Then we went over to Kittsona where Ashley bought me a FANCY plate (which will be making an appearance on the blog for. sure.) and we wandered over to LUSH and bought some BUBBLE BARS! So much fun. Hope you all are having a great weekend 🙂
