HOW is it already heading into Mid-October? It's almost as unbelievable as the permanent lines forming on my face - proof that time is indeed passing. Are you supposed to already have gray hairs and deeply grooved expression lines at age 27? Cause I do...
I blame stress. Honestly this has been one of the most stressful year's of my life as I've tried to figure out what direction to go! I've been praying HARD about it all (and would appreciate prayers as well). I have a tendency to jump directly into pursuits that end up not really going anywhere because there isn't passion behind them or I end up turning in applications for jobs that I want (and getting a million rejections) or jobs that I don't really want but know I'll get because I need a job.
Thus on the side hustle I'm a blogger, online publications writer, nanny, substitute teacher, Postmates delivery person and vacation rental manager. I have so many hopes and dreams and wants out of life...but lately I've felt so stuck and seriously stressed. So, I'm hoping that God will clearly open and shut the right doors and give me some clarity and direction! AND put purpose heavily onto my heart. I've always been a floater - trying to figure out where I fit and find my thing...so hopefully that happens sooner rather than later.
As stressful as life can be though, it's pretty great! And I love to enjoy and really feel each season of it. This week I'm enhancing the season of fall with this pretty pumpkin flower arrangement and I'm hoping to grow in this season of struggle...and flowers make everything brighter!

how to make this pumpkin arrangement
It's really simple to make this pumpkin arrangement! I bought a small $2.99 pumpkin & a $5 fall bouquet from HEB. Cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin large enough to fit a cup inside of it. Clean out the middle of the pumpkin. Stick a cup full of water inside of the pumpkin. Cut the bouquet to the desired length and stick it in the cup! Super simple and super cute. If you make one, tag me in your Insta pictures @amandakwaltman! 🙂 I wanna see those beauties!
