Eating right and drinking water lately has been a struggle. Like, a realllly real struggle.
It usually goes something like this…I’m going to eat SO healthy today. Oh, there’s some cheesecake in the fridge? I don’t mind helping myself to a slice after every meal until it’s all gone.
Okay now I’m really going to eat healthy. But dang, we’re going to an Italian restaurant? Hell no, I’m not getting a salad. This seems like the perfect occasion for PIZZA.
It’s 2pm and I NEED something to get me through the rest of this afternoon, I think I’ll get a diet coke!
I need water I’m so dehydrated…ooh you have coffee? where’s the coffee?
Okay, I really really really should be healthy now. But Whataburger on the way home sounds so EASY….
I want coffee…dang it, it’s cold. I’ll just get a diet cooke…
Haha, you get the picture. I mean, it’s been BAD lately.
But today I’ve done pretty good so far! And I’m pretty proud of myself for actually drinking the water I’ve been carrying around with me all day. I think it’s time to start infusing my water again! And I’m working on cutting my sugar addiction again. LOL, just in time to rediscover it at Thanksgiving, because seriously, who can resist warm homemade pie(s) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream? I CANT. And I wont.
But anyway, there’s my health ramble. How do you get back on track when you’ve been on extended healthy lifestyle vacation for so so long? Help!
