YAY! $25 credit to Stitch Fix means I ordered another box. I was really wanting some new pieces for spring with this box. Of course you can only put in your recommendations and requests but you really never know what you’re going to get. I’d say I was 3/5 pleased with this box. I really wanted new tops because I’m in desperate need of tops that aren’t so worn out that they have deodorant stains on them. If you’ve seen my holy worn out tennis shoes on snap chat, then you know I REALLY wear things to the last straw. Until they fall apart basically. Mostly because I don’t have a million dollars to spend on new clothes and shoes all the time, but I wish I did!
Back to Stitch Fix, I specifically asked for tops and no pants. They did send me a pair of pants, but you win some you lose some. That’s part of the whole fun of getting a Stitch Fix anyway…”SURPRISE! Not what you asked for, but we thought you’d like it!” I didn’t keep them.
I actually liked both tops pictured above: the Market&Spruce Striped Evella Boatneck Top and the Crescent Embroidered Tunic. The striped top fit me perfectly and if you saw my snapchat when I was looking at them for the first time, I didn’t think I’d be keeping it because I lean towards stripes way more often than not and wanted to try and branch out, BUT as it turns out it’s the only top I’m keeping from the fix.
I really liked the tunic, however I think the style would work better on someone a little bit daintier than me. It was cute however I felt that on my frame, people might question whether or not I’m hiding a prego belly!
The dress was really pretty and I was excited about that one until I tried it on. For some reasons the dresses that I get from Stitch Fix never seem to fit me the way I like. I’m sure eventually I’ll get one though.
And lastly the shoes…not into them! And Sam thought they were horrible too haha, first thing he said when he saw my box of goodies…BUT excited to see what other shoes they have in stock!! From the little shoe card they sent with the box, it looks like they have some really cute ones! I’d just have to let them know my preferences for the next time.
SO with my $25 credit, buying one top wasn’t too hard on the wallet. But obviously you can see from the pricing above that getting a Stitch Fix that you LOVE where you would want to keep everything would be kind of pricey. Which is why I usually don’t mind when I end up only liking one thing from a box…it makes decision making a lot easier!
I was looking for new tops and kept one so I’ll consider this box a WIN!
