These pictures are from a shoot that I did for a sponsored Instagram post! And I just had so much fun creating a spring table setting for the shoot that I wanted to share them on my blog. This blog post isn't sponsored.
I kind of wish we were hosting Easter so I could do it all over again, but we have a big family and I'll have to call it early next year!
Besides Easter being this week, I have been DYING to make an announcement on the blog since last week. We were set to take pictures for the announcement on Monday, but then Sam and I both got sick...we're thinking we had some kind of food poisoning! It wasn't good. And then it was rainy all week so I've been trying to get over the fact that I had to delay the announcement because I've been so excited about it!!! I was so annoyed, haha.
Anyway, we're going to try to get those pictures done either today when the sun comes out OR tomorrow for sure! So it shouldn't be too much longer. Honestly, I don't know what else to talk about because everything has revolved around this lately so I'm just waiting and wanted to update you all!
But I'm also excited for Easter! We'll go to church and then spend the afternoon with family, eating good food (I still have to figure out what I'll bring - maybe I'll make a pie?), watching little ones Easter egg hunt, and catching up.
Did you know that my cousins and I did Easter egg hunting until we were in high school? We all grew up together and were all relatively close in age until more young-ins came along so they eventually graduated from putting candy in eggs to putting money in some of the eggs, which really up-ed the anti. I mean it was almost like Easter egg hunting Hunger Games edition, but always in good fun. It was just so ridiculous we were still carrying on that tradition being so old. I kind of wish they still did that for us though, not gonna lie! HAHA.
Maybe one day we'll turn the tables and put together an Easter Egg Hunt for our aging and elderly parents 😉 We'll put sugar free candies, fake teeth and toupees in the eggs!
Do any of you have Easter traditions? I really want to start some family traditions! Would love to hear what your family does every year!
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter! Jesus is Risen!!
