Happy hump day! We're headed to Montana tomorrow and I wanted to share a few things that I packed for the snow (above - really in love with the mid length Columbia jacket, it's SO warm)! This is a collaborative trip for the blog & I'm BEYOND excited because I really wanted to work with these people so I REALLY can't wait to share everything with you guys! I know I keep saying that but I can't really share much else just yet. I'll be sharing our experiences and adventures once we're back, but you can follow along on my snap or Insta story while we're there.
I'm also excited to have another adventure in general! I was in such a funk yesterday thinking about everything that I needed to get done that I did NOTHING. I laid on the back patio and got some sun and then went for a run because my brain was in full shut down mode. I get so excited and then stressed out at the same time because I love our life and there is so much to be excited about but I've GOT TO get better at time management. It's a tricky balance sometimes (especially since we don't have a home base BUT we're working on it): cleaning for us (then cleaning for the guests), grocery shopping (for two or three days worth of food without wasting it), keeping up with laundry (all of the dirty bedding & towels from guests and then our suitcase clothes...which takes the entire 2-3 days we are home), responding to booking inquiries, emails on emails on emails, collaboration hustle, keeping up with the books, creating content and blogging, working out, trying to be a present wife, making time to hang out with neighbors during our short stays at home. I'm a nut a lot of times and when I get too overwhelmed, Sam can attest, I shut down. If you could only see what Sam sees sometimes...haha! Yesterday that was my unbrushed Einstein hair among other frump day getups.
Anyway, I'm not trying to come off complain-y. I'm really grateful to do what I do and have a husband who really loves and supports that. Just wanted to share why I'm so excited to be in the mountains and the snow and the fresh air! My brain needs a breather - and for this to be a "work" trip for me is beyond my wildest dreams! Thanks for following along <3
