I know how good water is for me, and I know about how much of it I am supposed to be drinking every day…but I still find myself filling what should be water intake with coffee and (God forbid) diet sodas! I know how bad diet sodas are. But they are so crisp and refreshing, in a fizzy non boring plain water kind of way…but this isn’t helping my point. I want to drink less soda/artificial anything and drink more water because our bodies just don’t function properly without it. Our cells, our brain, our muscles, our digestive system, everything in our body depends on water…which is why we don’t survive very long without it.
And if you’re prone to acne like I am then that should be motivation enough right? Because water is wonderful for our skin. It helps clean toxins out of the body and works wonders at making our skin more elastic so that what needs to come out can…thus less clogged pores, less pimples!
So, in an effort to drink plenty of water I recently started making Fancy Water as I like to call it. I’ve been infusing my water with nutrients and hints of flavor by adding cucumber and lemon slices to it, and I love it because it makes regular water taste 10 times more refreshing! And it just seems so fancy. You know how they always give you fancy water at spas (places where you pamper your body)? Well it feels like you are treating your body good when you drink infused water, and you are, so good for you!
