Sam and I made our way over to 827 Ray's Kitchen + Cellar for my 29th Birthday dinner this week. I'd been wanting to eat dinner here for a long time because I drive past it every day on the way home - it's literally around the bend from us! You can't miss it on 620 because it's lit up with delightful strands of Christmas lights all through the property and it is SO inviting!
827 Ray's offers a quaint, comfortable, and elegant dining experience all at once - from the refined cellar and tasting room, to the stylish dining room, the cozy bar and picturesque patio - they have a room for every occasion. And whether you are joining them for lunch, brunch or dinner you can expect a unique, fresh and delicious bite with a fun french flair, and a wine list that is sure to compliment every dish and palate.
For my birthday dinner we decided to try as many appetizers as we could. We ordered: Oak Fired Artichoke and Octopus, Lobster and Fries, Beef Carpaccio, Oak Fired Scallops, a dozen Gulf Coast Oysters on the half shell and we had so much fun taste testing/cleaning every plate. Everything was very flavorful and delicious, but my favorites were the Lobster and Fries and the Oak Fired Artichoke and Octopus! We also finished everything off with a Lemon Tart and a couple glasses of champagne, it was all so lovely and such a fun atmosphere for my birthday dinner - I can't wait to dine here again.
We've been told their brunch is incredible, so I want to head back for that and for another dinner where we try different entrees! Below are their hours, AND if you ever want to meet me up for some lunch or dinner there, I've got free appetizer coupons 😉 (but seriously):
