DIY Chip Bar for Game Day Snacking
Make a fun banner - "Chips & Sips!"
I re-used an old tassel banner that I had from a previous party. If you don't already have one, you can find them on Etsy or at your nearest crafting store. I then layered on the triangle banner and simply wrote CHIPS & SIPS on it with a black marker!
Use containers for a polished Chip Bar.
Simply line your containers with white napkins and then fill with different flavors and kinds of chips! Make sure your containers are all the same size, shape and color for a put-together look.
Mix it up! Use different & fun flavored chips - I used Popchips!
Use different flavors of chips and have fun with it! You can even add some dips to the table as well. I used Popchips because they make the perfect snack for gameday! They use only real ingredients, with nothing artificial and no preservatives. They're also gluten free and they meet the USDA smart snack guidelines! Not to mention awesomely low-cal. My favorites are the Zesty Jalapeno Cheddar that are perfectly cheesy and spicy and the Buffalo Ranch Ridges that give me the taste of wings without the mess, or extra calories! But there are a variety of flavors to choose from such as Tangy BBQ, Cheddar & Sour Cream, etc.
Add snack bags to the table.
Snack bags are a fun alternative to plates. Guests can fill their individual bags with their favorite chips and take it to the couch to watch the game. Great way to avoid a mess!
Add some festive drink options!
I added two carafes of Margaritas and a bottle of champagne to the table! Carafes are a great way to serve your favorite drinks, aerate your favorite red wine and fancy up your table a bit.
Happy Game Day Snacking!
